A petition process exists to request course substitutions for foreign language and/or math requirements. Decisions are made based on the disability documentation, the direct impact the disability has on theacademic course(s), and the degree requirements. There is no obligation to waive, substitute, or change courses and/or academic requirements deemed "essential", e.g foreign language requirements for an International Business degree would be considered "essential".
