The Veteran Benefit Services office deals primarily with processing education benefits offered through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and providing the services you need to successfully navigate the transition from military to civilian life.

Student Disability Services provides services, support, assistance related to any injury or disability issue (e.g. Hearing loss, PTSD, traumatic brain injury, mobility impairment) for classes, campus, and community.

The purpose of this organization shall be to unite veterans in a social atmosphere to assist in the transition from service to academics while providing a network that offers resources and support to meet the needs unique to student veterans.

Student Counseling Center

The Student Counseling Center provides licensed professional counselors to address personal, career, academic, biofeedback/stress management, or other issues (e.g. anger management, depression, academic rigor, grief); support groups. Also, a psychiatrist is on staff.

Correspondence Education

The Correspondence Education office provides correspondence education opportunities to learners whose work, family responsibilities, physical isolation or medical concerns may preclude participation in regularly scheduled class meetings.  All college credit courses are approved for veterans and other eligible persons covered in the provision of the G.I. Bill.

Committed to providing quality, confidential services for OSU students affected by problems related to substance abuse. We promote and provide innovative, campus-based services that improve the well-being and quality of life for students. The goal of ASAC is to help OSU students maximize their potential by supporting their intellectual, personal, and social growth. An AA group meets on campus Thursdays from 5:00-6:00 at 003 University Health Services (Arrive 5 minutes early to attend). Open to the public.

Psychological and mental health services to students, families, & the community; individual, family/couples, & group counseling; child therapy. Counselors are doctoral students in the Counseling Psychology program. Pay on sliding scale. No session limit.

One-on-one tutoring in any subject/class you may need help; Academic Facilitators, who will help you navigate OSU and its many offices, organize your class schedule and syllabi, make appointments with tutors, set a regular study schedule, and more; LASSO advisers to help you pick a major or verify the one you’ve already selected; One- or two-credit hour  academic success courses or workshops on study skills, major selection, making your grades, academic policies and procedures, time management, etc.
